Este componente trabaja junto al amortiguador formando un conjunto de suspension que garantiza la estabilidad y el confort de marcha en cualquier condicion de carretera.
Sintomas de desgaste y sustitucion
Los sintomas habituales de un muelle deteriorado incluyen el hundimiento irregular de la suspension en uno de los extremos del vehiculo, ruidos metalicos al pasar por baches y una conduccion inestable en curvas. En algunos casos, pueden aparecer grietas o fracturas visibles en las espiras del muelle, especialmente en la zona inferior donde se concentra mayor tension.
