La instalacion requiere retirar el forro interior del maletero, desconectar los cables de la iluminacion y los sensores si los hubiera, y extraer los pernos de fijacion con herramientas especializadas. Se recomienda trabajar con ayuda de otra persona para sostener el porton durante el proceso y evitar danos en la pintura o en las bisagras.
