Compatible con Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee y Commander equipados con sistema de traccion total. La caja transfer con referencia 71742344 es el componente responsible de distribuir el par motor entre los ejes delantero y trasero, permitiendo el funcionamiento del sistema 4x4 en condiciones de baja adherencia.
Diagnostico y montaje
Los sintomas de mal funcionamiento incluyen ruidos extraños al acelerar, perdida de traccion, dificultades para engranar las marchas 4WD o vibraciones anormales. En algunos casos, el testigo de 4x4 puede parpadear o permanecer encendido en el cuadro de instrumentos. Antes de la sustitucion, es fundamental verificar la compatibilidad exacta del modelo y anno del vehiculo, asi como el estado del aceite de la caja transfer.
La instalacion requiere vaciar el aceite de la caja anterior, desconectar los semiejes delantero y el kardan, y extraer la caja dañada. El montaje de la nueva caja debe realizarse con las juntas originales y respetando los pares de apriete especificados. Recomendamos usar aceite ATF especificado por el fabricante y verificar el nivel tras el montaje.
